Data Skills Webinar: Evaluating diel flux cycles
Apr 25, 2023
Hosted By:

National Ecological Observatory Network
This webinar will focus on downloading NEON bundled eddy-covariance data using the neonUtilities R package. The flux quality flags will be applied, and then data will be binned to evaluate diel cycles of fluxes. The diel cycle of carbon and water vapor are important when evaluating carbon sequestration and ecosystem health.
Instructors will code in real time, allowing participants to follow along and ask questions as they go. The final 30 minutes will be reserved for Q&A and assistance. This workshop is part of the ongoing data skills and science seminar webinar series. Learn more about our Data Skills Webinars and Science Seminars HERE.
Programming language: R
Prerequisites: Previous attendance at an Access and Work with NEON Data workshop, or the self-guided Download and Explore NEON Data tutorial, is recommended but not required.
Requirements for participation: Prior to the webinar, you will need R installed on your computer, and RStudio is recommended. You will need to install the neonUtilities R package. If you have any problems with installations, use the Contact Us page.
