This webinar will provide an introduction to navigating and using APIs, including accessing NEON data and metadata via the NEON API. The webinar will follow the Introduction to NEON API in Python tutorial (a few updates to this tutorial will be made prior to the webinar). Instructors will code in real time, allowing participants to follow along and ask questions as they go. The final 30 minutes will be reserved for Q&A and assistance. Programming language: Python
Prerequisites: Familiarity with basic coding in Python is recommended but not required.
Requirements for participation: Prior to the webinar, you will need Python installed on your computer, and a Python IDE if desired. You will need to install the following Python packages: {requests}, {json}, {rasterio}. If you have any problems with installations, use the Contact Us page.
