In order to be more agile in identifying and correcting quality issues with the microbial community composition data products, we are developing an in-house data processing pipeline to generate the microbial community composition data products. Testing of the pipeline is currently underway and will be followed by parameter optimization. A firm timeline for completing testing and optimization is unclear: this news item will be updated periodically as development progresses.
