2019 Icy Cape Supplemental Remedial Investigation Former Distant Early Warning Line Station, Icy Cape, AK

Request to borrow 30 beetle pitfall trap sets (trap covers, spikes, and spacers) from D18/19. Collecting terrestrial insect samples from a non-NEON site (Icy Cape, AK as part of a Battelle project with the US Navy. Samples will be collected using beetle pitfall traps and composited to produce enough tissue sample volume to analyze for organic contaminants, PCBs, Pesticides, and metals. This project occurred in the Alaskan Arctic along the Chukchi Sea.
