About Andrea

Andrea Anteau is the field operations manager for the Northern Plains - Domain 09. She has had a life-long passion for ecology has worked in ecological research and science education for almost 20 years. Along the way she has worked on marine plankton off the coast of Maine; climate change; brown bears, rainbow trout, colonial-nesting geese, and estuary marsh ecology in Alaska; coastal wetland ecology and biogeochemistry in Louisiana and Central America; desert soil microbial ecology in New Mexico; and wetland and amphibian ecology in North Dakota. She has also taught undergraduate and high school science courses in all areas of science, from biology and chemistry to anatomy and vertebrate zoology. Andrea holds Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Biology from the University of Montana, Missoula, and Science Education from Valley City State University and a Master's degree in Ecology from the University of New Mexico. Andrea, her husband, and three sons, have lived in North Dakota for eight years, enjoying life on the prairie and all it has to offer.
