Christopher is the Field Operations Manager for two NEON Domains: D18 (Arctic Tundra) and D19 (Boreal Forest, or ‘Taiga’), both of which are supported from the Domain Facility in Fairbanks, Alaska. Christopher comes to NEON after having worked for a variety of State, Federal, and private research institutions in both the United States and Canada. He received his B.S. (2007) from UBC in British Columbia, Canada, and his M.S. (2013) in Biology from Queen’s University, in Kingston, Ontario. Prior to moving into operations management with NEON, Christopher’s research interests were primarily in seabird and arctic ecology. His work has taken him to remote locations in the Arctic, Patagonia, the Pacific Northwest, and the Great Lakes.
