About Jean

Jean is an experienced environmental scientist with a demonstrated history of working in a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving our natural resources. He is a strong research professional with a M.S. focused on Environmental Management, auditing and application of renewable energies. On the personal side, he loves spending time with family - going to the movies, and visiting dog parks with family pet "Papi". His hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, and video games.

Jean received his education at the Interamerican University Of Puerto Rico and the International Iberoamerican University of Puerto Rico. His skills include GIS, management and project management, and local engagement and citizen science. Jean's projects include: 

  • Mapa Madre community project
  • Puerto Rican Crested Toad recovery program
  • Sea Turtle conservation program, Yo amo al tinglar
  • A+A Reforestation program
  • Audubon Christmas Bird Count
