"This international conference on the management and science of forest soils has been organized every 5 years, typically alternating between Canadian and US venues. The first NAFSC was established in 1958 and held on the campus of Michigan State University. The cutting-edge science presented at NAFSC conference remained standard references in the fields of soils and forestry for decades after their presentation. Academics, researchers, private companies, and governmental organizations from many countries attend the conference."
"Every two years, CUAHSI hosts a Biennial Colloquium focused on developments in the hydrology sector of the Earth Sciences. The symposium offers a unique opportunity and a casual environment for participants to discuss ideas and interact with colleagues from different disciplinary fields from all over the country. Students are especially encouraged to attend!
The theme for the 2023 biennial is, Discovering New Horizons in Water Science."
"The International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) is the flagship conference of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS). It is aimed at providing a platform for sharing knowledge and experience on recent developments and advancements in geoscience and remote sensing technologies, particularly in the context of earth observation, disaster monitoring and risk assessment."
"At the Eighth Interagency Conference on Research in the Watersheds (ICRW), federal and state scientists, academics, NGOs, and others will focus on Adaptive watershed science and ecosystem management in a changing climate."
