We have identified an unusually high number of duplicate records in the fish bulk count data (fsh_bulkCount) published in the Fish electrofishing, gill netting, and fyke netting counts data product (DP1.20107.001). The affected data are prevalent across most aquatic sites that collect fish.
The majority of the duplicates were caused by non-standard data entry, and can't be resolved automatically. We are rapidly investigating the issue and will provide an update by mid-November. We are aiming to publish data with this issue resolved no later than the RELEASE-2025 data release at the end of January.
