NEON's third data release, RELEASE-2023, is now available for download.
At the end of each calendar year, NEON staff conducts a thorough review of the data, makes any final corrections, and tags data files with a release year and unique DOI, which supports best practices for citation in papers and publications. DOI URLs will always resolve back to the dataset, and are thus ideal for citing NEON data in publications and applications. These data releases remain stable (for all subsystems) and accessible (for all subsystems except AOP) throughout the lifetime of the Observatory. RELEASE-2023 includes 161 data products annotated by 129 DOIs. Please read the Release 2023 webpage to learn more about the specifics of this particular release.
